Senior Week info from Student Life

Dear Seniors,

This year promises to be the most accessible Senior Week yet for Barnard seniors. The initiative for fully subsidized tickets for Senior Gala is made possible due to financial support from the Senior Class Council and SGA Rep Council.

Fully subsidized Senior Gala tickets will be available to Barnard seniors with $0-10,000 Expected Family Contribution (EFC) to be verified by Financial Aid. Your EFC is calculated annually based on information you provide in your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). If you have an EFC of over $10,000, you will not be eligible for subsidized tickets. Please note that there are limited quantities of subsidized tickets and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. It can take up to 3 business days to verify eligibility. You must fill out this form by  Friday April 1 at 12:00:  https://goo.gl/forms/Qxj9gPZFFcvIRkfb2

If you have any questions, please e-mail Ana Angeles at aangeles@barnard.edu.

SENIOR WEEK 2017
We came. We saw. We conquered. From the first time we stepped onto Morningside Heights to the moment we walk across the graduation stage as Columbia University and Barnard College's Class of 2017, each of us have taken hold of this amazing experience and made it our own. But before we wrap this chapter up, let us come together one last time for a weekend of fun and celebration. From May 11 to May 13 be sure to grab your friends (or make new ones!), and don't miss out on Senior Week 2017!

Senior Gala
May 11th, 2017, 8:30 PM - 12:30 AM ET
Pier Sixty
An age old Columbia tradition, Senior Gala serves to bring together the entire Class of 2017 the way Convocation did so many semesters ago. From over fifty countries across the world to the humble Morningside Heights, we came! This year, make your way to the breathtaking Pier Sixty and dance the night away with your fellow seniors as we commemorate our years of hard work and exhausting self-discovery. There will be plenty of entertainment, endless hors d'oeuvres, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and a spectacular waterfront view to experience at its fullest. And of course, don't forget to "dance till the stars come down from the rafters."

Senior Bazaar
May 12th, 2017, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM ET
Brooklyn Bazaar
From Milbank classes to EC parties, Butler Library to NoCo, protests to celebrations, fall to spring, we saw it all. However, with many of us soon leaving Morningside Heights behind, it is only fitting for us to escape this bubble together one last time. Thus, for the second event of Senior Week, come out to Williamsburg with your senior class for an afternoon of Brooklyn Bazaar fun. Each ticket comes with full access to the arcade, ping pong tables, blacklight mini golf, karaoke rooms, photobooths, and more. Food and drinks (including one bar ticket for beer, champagne, and wine) will also be included, so be sure to venture out to Brooklyn and see all that there is to see!

Senior Fest
May 13th, 2017
On campus (TBD), Columbia University
Details coming soon ;)
