If you are planning to complete your degree requirements this fall or spring, it’s time for you to apply to graduate!
***To have your degree awarded this May you must apply to graduate on or before the January 19 deadline***
(even if you do not plan to attend commencement ceremonies).
How?
Option 1: Find the GradApp from the menu bar at the top of your Barnard Portal. This will send you to Student Planning and Slate to finish the app.
Option 2: Log in directly to Student Planning and access the Graduation Application from the main menu.
If you expect to finish your requirements in Spring 2024, apply for Spring graduation. Your degree will be conferred in May 2024.
The deadline to apply to graduate this spring is January 19.
If you expect to finish requirements in summer 2024, you will have a later opportunity to apply to graduate but should be sure to update your grad date via this Slate form in the meantime: https://slate.barnard.edu/register/chg_ant_deg_date
After submitting the form successfully, you will see an on-screen confirmation page and receive a confirmation email.
If you are not planning to graduate this year, please complete this form in Slate so that we can update your record.
